Der @BakeRolls hat mich auf ein geniales Angebot hingewiesen: vServer für wahnsinnige 3€ im Jahr bei Inceptionhosting

Die Komponenten schwanken zwischen 1 – 2 CPU Cores, 128mb – 256mb RAM, 2GB – 3GB (SSD) Disk Space und 350GB – 500GB Traffic.
Zu jedem vServer gibt es 5 x IPv6 und 1 x IPv4 Adressen dazu. Falls der Traffic aufgebraucht ist, wird der vServer bis zur nächsten Abrechnungsperiode ruhiggestellt.
Eine Trafficrechnung gibt es in diesem Sinne also nicht.

Jedoch wird zur Inbetriebnahme eine eigene Domain und die dazugehörigen Nameserver benötigt. Um die Nameserver eurer Domain herauszufinden kann ein einfacher whois eingesetzt werden.
Darüber hinaus ist in diesem Angebot kein Support jeglicher Art enthalten. Der Kunde erhält quasi nur den rohen vServer.
Es gibt (leider) nur 20 Ports/ VPS, welche man für sich beanspruchen darf.

First steps

Sucht euch in der Mail oder der unten stehenden Tabelle die korrekte, externe IP heraus und den dazugehörigen Port.
Wenn eure interne IP z.B. 192.168.0.30 ist, dann habt ihr die Ports 3001 – 3020 frei und eure externe IPv4 Adresse lautet
213.163.67.24.

Verbindet nun über die Serial Console aus dem VPS Control Panel und passt den SSH Port an.

nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config
service ssh restart

Dabei ist es egal, welcher der 20 Ports verwendet wird.
